Steven G. Chrust
Chairman, Board of Directors

Steven G. Chrust has been Chairman of APJeT’s board of directors since 2011. Mr Chrust is also Founder and President of SGC Advisory Services, Inc., which he started in 1991.  He is also a Managing Partner of Centripetal Capital Partners (www.centricap.com) a private equity investment firm. Mr. Chrust has been involved with the telecommunications, technology and financial services industry for over 40 years.  Mr. Chrust began his career in 1970, at Sanford C. Bernstein & Co., Inc., a financial institution handling more than $400 billion in client assets, currently known as AllianceBernstein.  While at Bernstein, he was Director of Technology Research and ranked in the top tier of telecommunications analysts for more than a decade by Institutional Investor and ranked the #1 analyst in the sector for five consecutive years in their all-star ranking.  In 1985, Mr. Chrust joined Vodavi Technology as Executive Vice President of corporate planning.  In 1987 Mr. Chrust was named a director of AMNEX, Inc., an operator services long distance company.  After completing the consolidation of Vodavi, ISOETEC and EXECUTONE (now E-Lottery), Mr. Chrust joined AMNEX management in 1990 as its President, later assuming the additional responsibilities of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.  Mr. Chrust also served as Chairman of Worlds.com in 1999-2001.  He currently sits on the boards of Iris Wireless and DashBid.  He has served on a number of boards and acted as advisor to many companies. In 1994, he co-founded WinStar Communications, Inc., a facilities based local telecommunications provider utilizing fixed wireless technology and served as its Vice Chairman until the end of 1998.  Mr. Chrust was Chairman of the Association for Local Telecommunications Services (ALTS), the national organization representing facilities-based competitive local exchange carriers, in 1998.  He is a member of the Association for Investment Management and Research and the New York Society of Securities Analysts.  He has lectured at the Harvard Business School and testified before Congress concerning the break-up of AT&T, and before state public utility commissions on various regulatory matters.  Mr. Chrust is a graduate of Bernard M. Baruch College of the City University of New York.


John Morrison (Jay) White, Jr.
President, Morrison Textile Machinery
APJeT Board Member

Morrison Textile Machinery is a leader in the design and manufacture of textile dyeing, finishing, and shrinking equipment with export sales and service to over 50 countries.  Morrison is the sole licensee for manufacturing APJeT™  plasma equipment. Jay and his team are involved in every phase of equipment design and build and offer sales and service support to APJeT™  as well.  Jay holds a B.A. degree in Economics from Middlebury College and a MBA from Michigan State University. 

John Emrich 
CEO and President  

Mr. Emrich joined APJeT™  as the CEO and President in May, 2007.  Prior to joining APJeT™  he was the CEO and President of Guilford Mills Inc. He had an extensive, diverse career there holding many positions throughout the company in the Apparel, Automotive, and Fiber divisions.  He has over 35 years of executive experience in the textile industry and has an MBA from Adelphi University in Garden City, NY and a BBA in Marketing from Pace University.

Wade Tyner 
Manager, Applications Engineering 

Wade came to APJeT™  from Milliken & Company, one of the largest privately held textile companies in the world.  While at Milliken he was an Engineer in a dyeing and finishing facility as well as the plant engineer at a Nonwovens facility.  Wade is responsible for coordinating all equipment builds, modifications, and field installations.  He holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from West Virginia University and a M.S. degree in Textile Engineering from North Carolina State University.

Greg Roche 
VP, Applications Engineering 

Greg is responsible for managing the Applications team, developing new processes and hardware, as well as supporting them in the field.  He is the holder of six patents in the field of plasma processing. He came to APJeT™  from Lam Research, Advanced Energy Industries, and KLA-Tencor.  Greg holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Irvine.

Martha M. Emrich 
Director, Sales & Customer Development  

As Director, Martha is responsible for interfacing with customers, the market place and communicating their needs to the APJeT™  applications team as well as managing sales and marketing efforts.  She has worked in many facets of the textile and apparel industries and has held positions at Navy Clothing and Textile Research Facility and just prior to joining APJeT, Guilford Mills, Inc.  She holds a BS degree in Textiles from North Carolina State University.

Carrie Cornelius
Scientist/Engineer  

Carrie is part of our Applications team and is responsible for developing plasma hardware and concepts and chemistries required for our plasma process. She has over 7 years of experience in the field of atmospheric pressure plasma with a focus on plasma initiated chemistry and its application to textiles and paper.  She holds all of her degrees from North Carolina State University including a B.S. degree in Textile Technology, a B.A. degree in Art and Design, an M.S. degree in Nuclear Engineering, and a PhD in Fiber and Polymer Science.
