APJeT conducts operations from its corporate headquarters and development facility located at 3900 Paseo del Sol, Santa Fe, NM. The facility consists of several offices, 2 high-bay plasma labs, an analytical testing lab, and a full-scale test facility for plasma treatment of textiles.
As an OEM manufacturer, APJeT designs the plasma sources to specification, and contracts fabrication of the required parts to local machine shops. APJeT ensures product quality during final assembly and testing.
APJeT has lab equipment and tools, including 3-dimensional software design tools such as Solid Works, a series of experimental plasma sources of round and flat configurations for in-situ and downstream processing, rf power supplies and rf impedance matching networks for plasma sources, an industrial tube trailer outfitted for central gas handling and a recirculating coolant system, fume hoods and chillers/heaters for temperature controlled substrate stages. Analytical diagnostic and surface characterization capabilities include quadrupole mass spectrometry, lasers, optical emission and absorption spectroscopy, optical microscopy, FTIR, Dektek surface profilometry, particulate detection systems and ellipsometry (Rudolf AutoEL IV). Other equipment includes mechanical tools, ovens, electronic test equipment, computers with LabView software to control plasma sources and substrate stages. APJeT also operates a working, full-scale prototype for plasma treatment of flexible substrates.
